Town of Port Royal council meeting (July 8, 2026) included approval of minutes, a proclamation recognizing Gulliguchi Nation Appreciation Week (July 25–Aug 1, 2026), introduction of a new community development planner, updates on the shrimp dock permit and other staff items, passage of multiple ordinances (including an electric-bicycle ordinance), several annexation/zoning items sent to the planning commission, public comments on e-bikes and the living shoreline, and adjournment.

Finance, Administration & Economic Development Committee met June 15 at 2:00 PM. Committee heard the year-to-date finance report, discussed corrective action for an auditor management letter, approved a five-year audit engagement, and moved three ordinances (2017 GO bond reallocation for Station 34, FY27 carryforwards, and ARPA reallocation) forward to County Council. No public commenters were present.
